Support for Importing Building Material, Eliminating the Import Tariff and Excise of Building Material(2009/8/5)

After the Financial Crisis, our domestic building material industry pay more attention to the African market. The large market makes the inquiry for building material in African countries higher than China?��s production. Therefore, China?��s building material products are welcome in Africa. According to Adi, the chief correspondent of Xinhua News Agency in Angola, said, the government announced on July 29th that, from that day on, eliminating all the the Import Tariff and Excise of Building Material.

As it is understood that, July 27th, the Angola government canceled all the Import Tariff and Excise of Building Material, and supported importing building material products to accelerate the infrastructure construction and housing construction. On that day, the Angola Cabinet Council also published the files of housing development fund, the country urbanization, housing project and so on.

Adi introduced, after 2002 when the civil war in Angola finished, the country reach the peak of urban construction and housing construction, and the price for building material are growing higher as well. At present, the average price for building material in Angola is 10 times as the price in international market.
