European Building Materials Industry will Rebound in the near future(2009/6/26)

France Tribune reported on 7th, Lafarge, Holcim and FCC construction material manufactories publicize the outstanding achievement of this quarter. The result is too bad due to the Economic and Real Estate Crisis. Lafarge Group loss 17 million Euros of the net amount , Holcim Group loss 49.10 million Euros of the net amount, FCC loss 33.10 million Euros of the net amount.

As reported, the investors don?��t alarm on the outstanding achievement. Yesterday, Lafarge rise 0.97% on share price which make CAC40 rise 2.5%. According to Goldman Sachs reported that the European construction industry market analysis, nearly four weeks, the industry's business activities in the global grew 24%, the entire Europe market grew 16% .

As Reported, the U.S. real estate industry shows signs of rebound, increase in the number of sites that the sale of real estate has improved. Inventory reduction, the United States it is not a very difficult market.

The first quarter of Lafarge's business activities in North America fell 19%, to 533 million Euros, account 15% of Group total turnover; but the group sales in the Middle East increased 58%, Africa increase 13%, Asia increased 19%. Especially for reviving the economy, many Governments put in different countries large-scale public works, especially China.
