Pakistan marble industry faces huge losses(5/16/2010)
Karachi: As the ethnic conflict in Balochistan, Pakistan has stopped the current supply blocks, the industry that this will directly to the marble industry, killing at least 20 million dollars in losses.
Pakistan Marble Industries Association Chairman Sanaullah Khan said that a large number of export orders have been canceled more than 300 marble factories in Karachi, only one month's supply of raw materials, if the raw material supply is not restored, a large number of workers will lose their jobs.

Sanaullah Khan requested the Government should take measures as soon as possible, otherwise a lot of marble factories will be forced to shut down, causing thousands of workers will be unemployed. He pointed out that, Dreji and Loi mining areas in almost stalled, which has caused more than 20,000 workers and 500 truck drivers unemployed.
